The Friendship Jeoffrey and Leslie were introduced in July of 1997, by their mutual friend, "Clay" Paul McClinton. Clay brought Jeoff to Leslie's parents' house to meet her and to discuss an upcoming engagement that they were all to participate in. After the engagement (Singles Banquet) took place, Jeoff, Clay, and Jay, all members of FOCUS Ministries, were introduced to other friends of Leslie - Kim and Shirrelle. Later that year, the girls (Leslie, Kim, and Shirrelle - from Antioch Church) met a few other members of Jeoff's and Clay's home church (Covenant) - Gwen, Ray, Marcus, and Ron and for the next two years, they all began to develop a WONDERFUL FRIENDSHIP. The friendship was like none other they had ever had. It was the opportunity to get to know members of the opposite sex, and know and fellowship with them merely as brother or sister in Christ.
